           I learned about this Happy Lechon in the cookie jar part of Cook magazine.  It caught my attention kasi nga all organic and tamang-tama dahil pwede kong i-feature sa agri program ko sa radio.  And that's exactly what I did.  I told my researcher, Joey, to contact Mr. Joel Jamias at mag-set ng interview.  Napaka-generious naman ni Mr. Jamias kasi dinalan nya talaga kami.  Nung first time na nagdala sya wala na ako sa studio so I instructed Joey na iuwi na lang nya yung share ko.  Pero dahil sadyang mabait si Sir Joel, bumalik pa sya talaga at gusto daw nya na matikman ko ang kanilang happy lechon :-)

          My friend Indi introduced Luxe to me.  I wanted to try California Nail Spa that time pero she said mas maganda daw sa Luxe so i tried. I was so lucky kasi magaling din yung nag-service sa akin, she's Alfa.  I had their LUXE (pedicure) service ( soak + scrub + mask + shape + extended massage + paint Php 550).. sobrang relaxing.. ang sarap sa feet and legs.  Mga two hours na ramdam ko pa din yung lamig nung mask sa legs. Kaya after 1 hour na radio program, I went back at nagpa-LUXE (manicure) naman ako (Php 380).

        I highly recommend LUXE Nail Lounge.. kaya almost lahat ng girls sa department namin dito sa office addicted na din :-)

MOZU Cafe

          
          Minsan lang kami magkita-kita ng dalawa sa mga best buddies ko dahil sa iba-ibang work schedule.  Elfy works for an Australian company in Ortigas Center, si Che sa McKinley Hill and like Elfy sa Ortigas din ako.  Si Che ang pinakamahirap ang schedule, shifting.  So everytime na free sya mag-tetext na yan.  Problem pa din kasi ayoko sana ng dinner kasi I live in Bulacan. Malayo. Tapos early ang pasok the following day. Si Elfy naman hindi pwedeng lunch dahil one hour lang lunch break nya.  So what we do most of the time ay mag-lunch near Elfy's office.  Syempre mas alam nya yung area.  She brought us sa Mozu Cafe.  Masarap and affordable.

               Hubby and I were watching a movie (can't remember what) when I first saw the trailer of this movie.  Maganda ang trailer plus favorite ko pa si Angelina Jolie kaya I told hubby na aabangan ko ang showing.  Initially May 2010 papalabas pero came May wala pa.  It was moved to July 28 instead.

               I watched it last Saturday with Hubby, Gab and our friends.  We decided to watch ng LFS since yung isang friend namin may work.  We came at the movie house few mins before mag-start.  Everyone was excited.

               Action na action talaga si Angelina and I heard she did almost all of the stunts.. hanggang kaya hindi sya nagpapa-double. And I heard din na na-hospitalized sya while doing the movie kaya na-delay.  Maganda naman ang movie kaya lang para sa akin na matagal naghintay parang sobrang nabitin ako sa ending.  Before the CBB rolled sabi ko sa sarili ko "Don't tell me yun na yun?" and I was so right, yun na nga yun.
Madami naman akong napanood na movies na may second or third part pa (like Iron Man) pero it wasn't that bitin.  Yun I just don't like the ending. RATING: 3 (5 as the highest)

Gab's Awie

     This happened when Gab was 1 year and 5 months old - May 4, 2009.  I was busy packing our things kasi magsu-swimming kami coz wedding anniversary ng Tito and Tita ng husband ko.  My husband was cleaning the car while Gab and his yaya were playing in the garage.  Pinakuha ni hubby yung thermos sa yaya.  Yaya placed the thermos on the floor since hubby was still cleaning the car, so hindi pa makapag-load ng gamit. Hubby asked the yaya to fix na her things, syempre dapat sinama nya si Gab but she didn't.  YUN! Narinig na lang namin na umiiyak na si Gab.  Pag labas ko sa garahe, Gab was standing near the thermos at may umagos ng tubig .. Salamat na lang at naka crocs si Gab kaya hindi direct na tumapon yung kumukulong tubig sa paa nya. 

     We rushed Gab sa hospital at habang nasa daan kami natutuklap na yung skin.. third degree burn! My God! Gab was crying the whole time. And lalo pa syang umiyak nung nasa emergency room na kami.  Yung resident doctor gusto syang i-confine pero his Pedia said pauwiin na lang.  Ang fear kasi nung doctor ay magdikit-dikit yung mga toes nya. 

     Since hindi nga sya na-confine I had to bring him sa ER every morning for three weeks para linisin nila yung awie ni Gab.  And walang araw na hindi sya umiyak ng todo habang nililinisan ang awie nya.  Palagi akong kino-convince ng doctor sa ER (Dr. Capacia, na super nice) na ako na lang ang maglinis kasi kaya ko naman daw. And finally nung fourth week ako na lang naglinis.  Bumili na lang ako ng maraming gauze saka cream saka yung gauze na may antibiotic na nilalagay in between his toes para hindi magdikit-dikit.. with the help of tubig na pinaglagaan ng dahon ng bayabas (para mabilis matuyo ang sugat).. nakayanan ko lahat.  Umiiyak pa din si Gab pero hindi katulad nung nasa ER na apat na nurse plus ako ang pumipigil sa kanya. Sa bahay Lolo lang nya ang katulong ko, wala nang struggle.  Simula nun whenever you ask Gab where's his awie, itinuturo  nya yung foot nya.

     And if you're going to ask about the Yaya, umalis sya after two days nung matapunan ng hot water si Gab.  Hindi ko naman sya pinaalis, hindi ko din sya pinagalitan. Nakakainis lang kasi sa mom-in-law ko sya nagsabi na aalis na sya at ang sabi nya mahirap daw kasi dahil sya ang sinisi.  According to her, sinabi daw ni hubby na sya na ang titingin kay Gab nung inayos nya yung things nya.  Which my husband denied. Bakit daw nya sasabihin yun e naglilinis sya ng kotse.  One thing na nakakainis pa, hindi ako kinakausap ni Yaya na parang ako pa ang dapat mahiya sa kanya.
